My Book Publishing Framework
In 2021, I took a few months to publish a book that I've been wanting to do for some time. The entire adventure began because books have always been a major part of my life, and over the years, I've accumulated several book ideas. Since my background is in technology, it was no surprise I looked at the book publishing process from a technical angle. And learning the process of making books myself meant I wouldn't have to rely on anyone else to get my books out. The result was a loosely coupled workflow, spanning several applications, that took in the raw text of the manuscript as input and produced a digital e-book and a print edition.
