Masstransfer Book Project
Many, many years ago--what feels like a lifetime now--I published an indie music fanzine that attracted readers from around the world. But it also existed at a time of great digital disruption, both in the music industry (a la Napster) and the publishing industry, with the rise of web-based publications.
Flash-forward to 2017, and it had been 20 years since the first issue came out. I had the idea of compiling all of the music content into a book, as quite a few of the bands from the zine days were still releasing music or active in some way.
It's take a little over three years of searching for digital files and missing musicians, but the end is near. I am working to finalize the book and have it published by the end of February 2021.
Ok, my break's over, time to get back to work.
